Minority Report taught us that humans would soon be doing some crazy finger magic in front of screens to obtain wonderous results. And behold the day is already upon us. Cynergy.labs and its amazing geniuses have used Wii remote and infrared gloves to demonstrate the next-gen human computer interface.

Check out the video after the jump to see Rick Barraza manipulate images on screen without having to touch it. The project is titled Project Maestro and makes use of Microsoft WPF. The Wii remote acts as a sensorfor what the user wants to accomplish and acts accordingly. Here see it for yourselves:


Now those are the results that Cynergy accomplished in just 8 days. Just imagine the possibilities with a little more devotion. This is just steps away from giving us a new input device. Touch-screen? Who’d even want one and we could do stuff by just waving?
