We have seen all sorts of universal remote controls, from tiny to large and this one definitely fits into the latter category. And, Cyclops from Genos is not just another remote control with half baked universal virtue. This one not only controls your entertainment, including TV and gaming consoles, but also the communication part by holding some of the strings of your cell phone. Like, Equipped with a full keypad, you could even type a message to your friend on the Xbox and send it across.

Genos founder, Shambro describes it as the coolest controller ever seen. It was initially shaped using play-Doh by Shambro. Looking like a disk, the remote has a QWERTY keypad with large thumb-driven media controls at the bottom and a large buttoned D-pad. With so much of wholesome goodness of convenience, you definitely have a price to pay here, not in dollars, but with its size, which is little too big to be held by one hand. You would have to use both your hands to put it into application. It is also being claimed to be the most ergonomically correct controller on the planet, which by the way is quite a big claim. And, I hope its ‘perfect engineering’ stands through with it until the claim is proved right. As far as the other pricing is concerned, there is no word on it as yet, so watch out for the end of this years, if you are really interested.
