Custom-made Tron Segway i2 makes that Tron fan in me freak out!

Tron Legacy has a been a treat to thrive on for DIYers around the globe. Not all have been to perfection, but there are a few creations that heve actually complemented the movie they take inspiration from. And in my recent memory, the TRON Segway i2 – that adds more nerdiness to an already ultra-nerdy mode of transportation is the best iteration that strikes reckoning. Customized to utter perfection in about four hours time, the TRON Segway i2 by Ricky Brigante is completed with regular materials including reflective tape and battery-powered strand of blue LED Christmas lights. The creation is so detailed that to a nerd it seems nothing less than that very sexy Light Cycle from the movie. The Segway i2’s grid lines are modeled after Sam Flynn’s costume from the movie, and the reflective tape when hit directly by a light beam shine brightly to resemble the glowing Tron: Legacy costume, and when tape doesn’t reflect light, the blue LED lights are made to do the same.
