The back up will take place via a service offered by a start-up called BeInSync. The data will get stored on the computers of online retail giant Amazon Inc. Latter offers similar services to other companies, enabling them to store data on online retailer's computer after paying certain fee.

The Cruzer, coming with a capacity of 4GB, goes on sale in March for $59.99. The device will be bundled with six months of free online backup. Thereafter users will be required to shell out $29.99 a year to avail of the online backup feature.
