Carnegie Mellon University will be rolling out its new 6.5-ton, six-wheeled military robot, named ‘Crusher’, at its National Robotics Engineering Center on April 28. The robot is especially designed to combat extreme terrains and will be showcased along with its predecessor ‘Spinner’.
Crusher is an unmanned, remote controlled, ground combat vehicle that’ll be used to carry hazardous weapons in battlefields and perhaps trim down human causalities.
