People normally do not associate laser guidance with exercising. But very few technologies can match laser's temporal as well as spatial coherence. Well, progressing along such lines, a (body conditioning device creating) company by the name of Laser Gym has contrived the Core Laser technology. It is basically a laser guiding system which when focused on a human body, manages to indirectly improved muscular motion, strength, and stability for enhanced exercising capability.

The system uses the company indigenous “Direct Visual Feedback” method for correcting and refinement of body movement. Fundamentally, the setup entails a beam of laser to be projected from the user's body on to the medium upon which he/she is exercising. The machine is already fed with a set of directional (or motional) 'guidelines'. So, as the user moves according to his/her choice of exercise, the laser beam also corresponds to that. Now, if this corresponding laser movement deviates from the directional path (already fed to the machine), the user can visually comprehend that alteration. And based upon this examination, he/she can adjust the positional attributes for a correct form of exercise. For added flexibility, the unit comes with a belt and travel bag.

The whole mechanism is based upon the psychological criteria of meeting some result that is achieved through an external goal. Now, the goal in this case is presented in a visual format for easier compliance on the part of the users. And with this external cue, the body can respond with greater vigor, power and adaptability, thus accentuating upon overall better health.
