Now there is more reason for you to clench your teeth and this time it’s not to show your anger to someone but to actually start the music player lying deep inside your pocket. This technology that is set to make you as lazy as ever has been developed in Japan.

The device works via a head gear that uses infrared sensors and a microcomputer to let people operate music players by clenching their teeth. Whenever the user clenches his teeth the signal is transmitted to the computer, which then differentiates the action from those made usually like when chewing a gum or talking.
The research team is now hoping to put the device to use to control music players and is also hoping that the device can actually be used to run cellphones, wheelchairs and other products. Such a device will be specifically beneficial for handicapped people who earlier had to call a person to handle their wheelchair, but now a simple clench of the teeth might be sufficient for the purpose.
