Fidgeting with my mean machine tops my scheme of things that I’d love to do before I die. It’s indeed a risky venture and baboon-heads should keep their hands off. Overclocking is one activity that bewilders many computer geeks all over the world, but for Dino Strkljevic it’s more of a serious sport. Hwbot.org manages a global overclocking league, and has ranked Strkljevic as the 48th best overclocker in the world. The Aussie prefers spending his leisure time with nitrogen liquid and overclocking apparatuses and dreams to make it big in the next world overclocking championships, scheduled on 25th September in Taiwan.

The contest will give participants a bunch of hardware parts and test their proficiency to churn out the fastest machine. What is more interesting is the fact that machines churned out by world’s top-notch overclockers cannot be operated in home environments because of their extremely volatile nature. Water-cooling systems and nitrogen liquid are used to combat the heat generated during this process.
