xaver800_48Yeps! I am talking about a camera dubbed Xaver800 that can see things through rock-solid walls. The Israeli manufacturer, Camero, has raised $14 million for their inimitable development accounting for a total of $20 million (after it was announced four months back) with investors including Greylock Partners, Motorola Ventures and Walden.

The technology to capture images with Xaver800 is not as the crow flies. Technically, the camera produces ultra wideband signals and the data gathered is then utilized to form 3D models of things. The ploy being employed is that the camera has the ability to capture the signals in messy conditions and through solid objects.
Unfortunately, the unique camera system is sold exclusively to military and police department for optimistically noble reasons.

Hmm...I know what you guys are thinking of? Having one for you to keep a tab on a big shot or someone else!
