VoodooPC will unveil a desktop PC with 16 hard drives making it to hold eight terabytes of data that equals data stored on paper made from 400,000 trees. VoodooPC targets high-definition video storage that sucks in 11 to 410 gigabytes per hour, on its new PC with Microsoft’s Vista.

“Storage is going to be where it’s at with Vista,” Raul Sood, VoodooPC President said. “I think Vista is more of a (increasing the) storage play than a memory play. There will be a lot more emphasis on storage.”
VoodooPC, which is currently selling 1TB systems for about $3,000 is expecting 8TB systems to cost around $8,000 to $9,000.
