Not very often do we see a manufacturer doing a waterproof industrial notebook PC. But when someone actually does deliver one, it sure becomes news. Thus, when we heard Clevo to have unveiled an 8.9-inch WSVGA touchscreen version of a waterproof notebook PC, we knew it had a place here on GW. Stuffed in with an Intel Atom processor, the notebook PC has a display with 1024×600 resolutions and supports Wi-Fi for connectivity. Housing a US15W chipset, the notebook PC with 2MP camera has RFID GPS and a 2D bar code reader. For its rugged nature the water resistant notebook PC has a shock mounted hard drive and G-sensor. There is no word on the price and availability yet, but surely a computing partner for the deep waters is coming soon.
