Citizen builds the most persistent LCD screens

Citizen of Japan has developed an LCD screen that can retain an image even after switching off the power. This technology will be highly recommendable for displaying information on mobile phones or maps and e-books. The best part is that, it will even reduce the power consumption by a screen. Currently, only black and white screens are available. Research for the coloured one is still not over.
