Cisco intros Valet router for quick and controlled wireless internet

Now all your worries of getting online as quickly as possible may be answered with the arrival of two new routers from Cisco. Designed by the makers of the Flip camcorders, the Valet and the E-Series are wireless router families designed to help you manage your home wireless network. The Cisco Valet is a simple device that can be easily hocked to the PC or Mac via the USB slot and there courtesy the software it set up and good to work. Priced at $99, this makes monitoring internet access on each setup easy and controlling it to the likes feasible.

The $79.99 E-Series routers on the other hand come with Cisco Connect software for WPA security passkey and SSID with ability to add multiple Internet-capable devices to the network. Besides monitoring internet access the router can also be used to provide password protected internet access to anyone visiting you. There’s no word on the availability aspect yet. The wait may just be a little longer before you can get your hands on one of these.
