An adroit confluence of art and technology? Certainly so, and more, as the above pictured conception is an enticing piece of robotic sculpture, made entirely from used Nokia cell phones. As a part of a conscientious initiative taken by the Finnish cell-phone giant, the 'well read' robot is exhibited at a Beijing shop.

The vivacious nature of the robot is truly complemented with the equally kaleidoscopic bench, but its allure goes well beyond the visual scheme of things. Nokia has envisaged of a grand yet unique plan of offering its customers movie tickets at post shops, in return for their dilapidated, old cell phones. These old phones will be recycled to contribute to more modern and newer versions. So, the fascinating robot sculpture has been created as a clever promoting vehicle for this innovative recycling venture.
But, don't worry; the company is not using this endeavor to just cut their costs. As a matter of fact, Nokia has officially promised not to 'directly' re-use any of the components of the recycled phones. So, from the perspective of a modern consumer, one can always view this as a 'go green' enterprise, with an impressive technological facet.
