Microsoft demonstrated world’s most attractive coffee table, which is a flat, touch-screen table monitor that measures 30-inches diagonal. It recognizes many points of contact simultaneously via multiple sources that can be up to dozens of items at once. Along with that, it also recognizes and responds to the placement of certain physical objects on the display.
Microsoft wishes to deliver it in locations operated by Harrah’s Entertainment, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, and T-Mobile USA. It can revolutionize the business in an incredible manner e.g. Surface could be used by a Snowboard shop to give customers the ability to select custom graphics for their boards, or at night clubs and restaurants where Surface is used, customers will be able to pay by placing their credit cards onto it.
Besides this, Microsoft also displayed a video puzzle program, which uses physical plastic tiles. On placing them on Surface, the space underneath the clear pieces lights up with pieces from a Forza 2 video. That means Surface may even rock the gaming world.
