CES 2008: Magellan Maestro sports Google Local Search

Posted By: Gagandeep Sharma | Jan 7 2008

Tired of going through yellow pages to find places to eat? CES 2008 has a very interesting product that provides an alternative: The Magellan Maestro Elite 540+GPRS. This device is a small auto navigation unit, which is first-ever to feature Google Local Serach. It allows users to search for local businesses including those where you can grab something to eat. It gives users details like routs to these places. The small device is also capable of sending trips wirelessly from a PC. All in all a very modern substitute for the yellow pages. And did I say it looks really nice too?
