If you are in any European country and own a PSP, then here is good news for you. ‘Go!Explore’ is coming soon, as early as in early Spring, to turn your PSP into GPS receiver. Now, roam anywhere in the city with your eyes on your PSP, because even if you lose direction, this will work as GPS navigation system for you.
You attach a GPS receiver into the device and load a UMD that contains the relevant maps in your area. That means a 3D-map with relevant landmarks marked on it right in your hands, which will help you locate yourself. However, in my own city, I won’t need a navigational system; but still, it can be admired when you are in an unfamiliar place.
The GPS receiver and UMD, along with the maps retails for $175 and will be initially available in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Italy, the Nordic countries, and Benelux. It comes with 11 different audio language-options for more convenience.
