CES 2007: World's biggest pickup truck showing off free mobile TV

Posted By: Naveen Kumar | Jan 12 2007

One of the major themes at the CES this year is mobile TV. For all those enthusiasts who wish to have TV on the move but are reluctant to Verizon's famous V CAST Mobile TV service that brings live full-length television programming to selected handsets, there is a perfect substitute being displayed at the CES show. And this alternative is the big International 7300 CXT pickup truck that features flat-panel TVs fitted in its two rear wheel arches and one stapled to the bottom of the tailgate.

The CXT truck hooks to DirecTV via a KVH's Tracvision A7 satellite receiver that will let the other drivers enjoy cable and local network TV when you are caught in a massive traffic jam. All you need to do is sync your journey with this gigantic mobile media ogre and enjoy your much-loved programs on the move.

I would simply love to drive beside one.
