One of the first big breakthrough technology announcements for the CES show 2007 has arrived. You guys shouldn’t miss the Planet82 booth at the CES show where they will demonstrate the process of taking crisp digital pictures and video in complete dark and that too without a flash.

Planet82 will display its enhanced Single carrier Modulation Photo Detector technology with a black & white full color sensor and two-megapixel color sensors. Well, these imaging sensors are startlingly 2000 times more responsive to light and allow alost every digital gizmo including mobile camera phones and automobile sensors to take crisp quality images without a flash and any sort of warp.

The full-color, high resolution imaging chip will be shown in action with a Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) and night-vision automobile applications. I am pretty sure that digital tech buffs will love watching this digital technology sensor technology in action.
