Samsung yesterday showcased its flash-powered laptop at CeBIT packed with 32GB 1.8-inch solid-state drive. Though the Solid-States Disks (SSDs) gives ample boost to data access as compared to the existing hard drives taking just 18 seconds to boot up the operating system, it costs a whopping $30 per gigabyte thus making the 32GB drive cost over $900.

The big disadvantage of its high cost will hopefully evaporate along with the decreasing flash prices and will definitely make the most desirable, especially with the fact that it's durable and completely silent.
