CEATEC showcases Toshiba's OLED PMP prototype

CEATEC Japan kicked off on a coldish, rainy October 2, but bad weather is not expected to lessen the attendance as many big guns were to showcase their new line-items and among them was this prototype from Toshiba.

The OLED PMP prototype has a 3.2 inch PMP which packs in a QVGA (240 x 427) OLED display.

These OLED displays have become a regular feature in the electronic arena, mainly due to their brighter, clearer, better viewing angle and most importantly the energy consumption, is way to less as compared to the old, traditional matrix displays.

So, in the near future we can see these OLED displays in regular gaming and cellphones.
