Symbol Technologies has come up with WT4000, the third-gen series of mobile computers and scanner attachments, especially in extreme environments. Runs on WinCE 5.0 Pro on a 520MHz Intel XScale PXA270 processor, the strap-on computer also features 802.11a/b/g WiFi, Bluetooth 1.2, and 2.8-inch QVGA display with taillight.
You can simply strap up the mini rugged computer on hip or wrist, which only waits 11.2-ounces (320.3-grams) and it could easily resist 4-feet crash to concrete floor. No information of cost and ease of use are available as yet.
