Every thing in the world seems to be shrinking as we are already using more that what the planet can provide. Latest trends seem to shift from ‘The Bigger The Better’ to ‘The smaller the better’. Be it gadgets, houses or even cars, all things have compressed to a smaller size. Bicycle manufacturers also want to keep up the trends. These days we are witnessing the launch of foldable bikes, which you can keep in the trunk of your car.
Making things better for these foldable bikes is Pinel & Pinel. The French trunk maker has teamed up with folding bike manufacturer Brompton to release a bicycle that folds up perfectly into a Pinel & Pinel trunk. The bicycle is available in ten different colors to match the mood and preferences of a broad segment of customers. The trunk is also keeping up the style as it is made of wood covered in rich leather and is available in fifty one different colors.

While very stylish, this trunk weighs 66 lbs and costs a whopping $6000. Granted, that $6k includes the bike but geez...
A better alternative would be to buy a simple, sturdy, low maintenance folding bike w/a lower price point and a folding bike carry bag. An example would be the Kent Superlite 1 speed. Cost including carry bag and shipping: $223
