Here is a developer's contraption, a wide-angle camera lens that works flawlessly when held up to the Canon TX1. The fabricator has developed a sought of a makeshift adapter with some rings; this rig wards you off your manual chore for sure! Watch the high-resolution picture gallery for an insight!
