
Stateside Canon faithfuls have plenty to rejoice about as the firm finally announced the release of its cute and easy-to-use ‘Basket –style’ compact photo printer in the country. Both Selphy CP760 and CP770 feature inviting and practical controls that make it great for just about anyone, including kids. With Cannon’s propriety lamination process, the printers dish out top-quality prints without image bleeding, blurring or fingerprint marks and smudging. The CP770 comes fully equipped with a 2.5” Hi-Def LCD monitor to preview images before printing and both the compact dye-sub photo printers can connect to cellphones and other handheld devices via a wireless infrared signal to print studio quality images at the mere pres of a button. An optional Canon BU-30 Bluetooth Adaptor can also be synced up with the printers to make printing even more of a breeze. The Selphy CP760 and CP770 from Canon retail for $100 and $150 respectively and shall shortly be available at retail outlets of the company nationwide.
