Can our body act as an interface for data transfer?

The question sounds very impractical but it's absolutely true. A new technology displayed at Next Generation Computing Show 2006 can efficiently use human body as an interface between two devices to transfer data.

Body area network technology uses human body as a medium to transfer data. All you need to do is make a physical contact with the other device, when you want to transfer data and are already wearing the device, from which you want to transfer.
