Camera, stun gun equipped armored glove makes you a super hero

Inventor David Brown, a cameraman and a film maker also, has designed an incredible glove-like, camera-mounted gun for the police and enforcement department. Dubbed as the BodyGuard 9XI-HD01, it can be worn as a glove on the cop’s arm as seen in the picture above. The device has multiple purposes with its components such as an LED flashlight, a high voltage stunner, a video camera and a laser pointer.

Crime-Fighting Armored Glove

It is partly an arm guard too. But beyond that, the device will help keep any kind of criminal or assaulter at bay with its stunner high voltage gun. The armored glove weighs less than three pounds. That means it can be comfortably worn on an arm. A hard shell will stretch across the forearm protecting from attacks. The stunner gun that is powered by four electrodes on the wrist is the major attraction of the device. A camera is enough to keep away most of criminals.

Brown envisaged the BodyGuard 9XI-HD01 in 2004 while he was chatting with his friends on a lion attack,which took place nearby Orange County Park. The incident culminated in killing one man and maiming another. Mr. Brown realized that a person with a knife or gun alone could not escape such conditions. It was the very idea behind the evolution of the BodyGuard’s technology.

Later, Brown took seven years and 30 prototypes to reach at the BodyGuard armored glove. The device later came into public notice as a perfect armor to control violent situations. The US Department of Justice has adopted the technology for the police and enforcement personnel in the country. The Los Angeles Police Department will immediately start using the armored electric gauntlets in enforcement duty.
