A step has been taken forward to help the residents of South India who work in fields for long hours. The government in Southern India is sponsoring a contest to design an air-conditioned jacket that could help cool off outdoor workers. There will be the committee that will select 10 options and each designer will be given $2,200 and the winner gets $22,000. The step taken by the authorities will enhance the efficiency and productivity of the workers. The air conditioned jackets will also lessen the rate of people suffering from heat stroke.
