We’ve regarded Segway’s as two-wheeled self-balancing vehicles, and they have been that way all the while, haven’t they? Then, is this Cajun Crawler by students from the University of Louisiana a fit in the genre? Perhaps it is an extension I guess, using the same Dynamic Stabilization used in a Segway based on designer Theo Jansen’s beach creatures, the Cajun Crawler has multiple legs for wheels in a Segway, which provides the whole concept more stability. The short legs may be a reason to believe the Segway to compromise on the free and fast movement, but the video proves the Cajun Crawler to be lot quicker than what we’d imagined.
