B&W removed all the wires in their new speaker system based on the XT
range models and also gave it a touch of active speakers with built-in class-D speakers. Wireless 5.1 Liberty speaker system also gave you an option to use it anywhere from two-channel music system to a complete six-channel surround set-up, with two spare channels left over to feed music into a second room. Even the PV-1 subwoofer comes without wires along with CP1 digital radio tuner/disc player/control unit, and four loudspeaker designs. Two-way XTW 2 and three-way XTW 8 floorstanders, an XTW Centre, and the PVW 1 subwoofer make it excellent for 5.1-channel surround system. You can get them separately as XTW 2s all-round plus a PVW 1, four XTW 8s, an XTW 2 Centre and the sub, or a combination of large front speakers and smaller surrounds. Kevlar drivers, Nautilus tube-loaded tweeter, a midrange driver with B & W’s fixed suspension transducer technology for XTW 8 sprinkles clarity in sound. All that gives you not only 5.1 experience, but chance to sync your audio with the wired video too.
