The project:
Children who have grown up in the 80s and the 90s remember the rise of the villainous cyborg in the Terminator. In the last two decades the franchise has achieved a cult status. Children and adults both have sometime tried to imitate Arnold Schwarzenegger. So, if you are also a big fan of the Terminator series and want to dress up as a one for Halloween in a cost effective way, then following easy steps to make your own costume of Terminator.

Difficulty Level: Moderate - You require basic knowledge of the Terminator film series and basic knowledge of stage make-up.
This step is the longest and requires investment of both time and money. But once you commit to this, you will not only achieve your desired look but will also benefit in the long run. So if you are an adult and have time to devote then visit your nearest gym and start weight training to build those bulging biceps and ripping muscles. However if don’t have the time or energy, don’t worry because once your costume is ready you will still look pretty cool.
Choose the Perfect Attire:
First, find a basic tight fitting black t-shirt. Search the local shops for black leather pants, black leather jacket and heavy-duty motorcycle boots. The overall result should give you over-the-top masculine look.
Wear your Black Shades:
Purchase the trademark pair of tough-looking black shades that Arnold wore in the movie.
Get the Terminator haircut:
Go to the barber shop to achieve the prefect Terminator haircut. Take a picture of Arnold with you if required.
Create the Red Eye:
Find a contact lens store that sells specialty, Halloween-style lenses. Purchase bright red lenses that will cover your the entire eye. Make sure that it fits properly and wear only one of them. To give your red eye more stunning effect, cut a Terminator mask for one eye and surround it with tinfoil leaving the opening for your eye. Apply liquid latex to your face and press the mask till it firmly sticks to your face. Surround the mask with makeup to give the impression of flesh ripping away from the metallic skeleton.
Practice the Terminator Accent:
To give your appearance the final touch practice talking in a deep Austrian accent. Don’t forget to use the trademark phrases: "Sarah Connor?" and "I'll be back" during the evening.
Quick tips:
Add a mini machine gun to your costume to give it a more realistic look. Simply attach the mini gun to your arm with straps under the sleeve of the jacket.
