To facilitate consumers with faster data transfer over USB, Buffalo’s Technologies MiniStation and DriveStation product lines is now integrated with Turbo USB spec.

In nutshell, the Turbo USB feature is incorporated to increase the connection speed amid the USB-to-SATA converter and the internal drive, by as much as 60%. Chiefly, Turbo USB enhanced the chronological conversion from 33 to 40MB/s and the sequential write from 35 to 41MB/s.

The MiniStation comes in 80GB, 120GB, 160GB, and 250GB capacities with a built-in shock-resistant technology, which is quite essential for portable drives. The prices for MiniStation ranges from $100 to $220 and will be available at the end of August.

Whereas, the DriveStation comes in 320GB, 500GB, 750GB, and 1TB capacities and comes loaded with SecureLockWare software. DriveStation starts at $130 and ranges up to $500 for the 1TB. The drives will be available from September onwards.
