Upgrading the tiny USB 2.0 flash drive RUF2-PS series, Buffalo has announced a 16GB version of the ultra-small drive. Measuring only 18mm x 18mm x 8mm and weighing nothing more than 3gms, the high capacity flash drive isn’t anything bigger than the USB port itself, only 5mm from the computer, i.e. you can barely see the thumb drive outside once it is fixed into its hub. Buffalo intends to ship the USB drives in red, black and white within a week, though there isn’t a confirmation on price yet, but I am surprised by the beauty in which the makers managed to stuff 16GB of storage into something so small that I fear losing it in transit well before I even buy it.
