Buffalo’s new Blu-ray burner to feature superfast USB 3.0

USB 3.0 is coming to the markets so aggressively that just ever maker and product wants to have their share of the super-speed technology. In case you’ve been searching for an external Blu-ray burner lately, then you may just want to hold your purchase a little longer until Buffalo releases the BR3D-12U3 - a USB 3.0 embedded Blu-ray burner. Besides the superfast ability of the included USB 3.0, the Blu-ray burner boasts of an ability to record BD –R LTH disc at speeds of up to 6x, while the BD-R Single or Dual Layer and BD-RE single layer at 8x, and BD-RE dual layer at 6x again. Buffalo has released no word on the date of release or the price of the burner yet, but we learn that the BR3D-12U3 comes with the conventional USB 2.0 support.
