Bridgestone has successfully designed the world's thinnest 2 color e-paper display called as 'Quick Response Liquid Powder Displays' (QR-LPD). The special ribbed structure of the bendable display ensures clear pictures without any distortion. The ultra-thin display will perhaps be used in the development of billboards, electronic books, and name tags. Price and availability are still not known.

The revolutionary display is carved out of Bridgestone's color Electronic Liquid Powder that enables bright two-color displays. The QR-LPD (Quick Response - Liquid Powder Display) will be showcased at the Society for Information Display 2006 exhibition to be held in California from June 4 to 9.
