German scientists from the Technical University of Braunschweig have come up with a helmet that does something similar to the Mind Balance which reads your brain waves. But this helmet actually reads your brain signals through your hairs and is powerful enough now to be able to control an RC car. Nothing goes into your head, rather there are sensors that are in the helmet that then detect from there. They are also trying to use their device on wheelchairs so that patients can use the device and be able to think what to do and make it happen.
With all the devices coming out that use the power of your mind to play games and do different things, what makes this one unique? Well, the design of course! There is the Wii 2.0 which is seemingly looking up to be on and it looks flimsy and then there’s the which is geared toward games and doesn’t look very appealing. But I’ll grant that this doesn’t look all that great, but hey, who said we are going for the fashion look? Check the video after the jump.
