Art in itself needs to be unique to be appreciated. If that is the case, then I don’t think there’s anything better we’ve seen than this art car, which has the exteriors of a BMW H2 - hydrogen-powered race car, ripped off to be replaced by a skin of steel mesh, stainless steel mirrors and many layers of ice. Dubbed as ‘Your Mobile Expectations’ and created by a Danish artist Olafur Eliasson, the car art is part of BMW’s Art Car Series. This BMW sponsored car art is meant to show the connection between cars and global climate change. A great exhibit to remind of the relationship between the car we drive and the environment, this Eliasson’s version of the BMW was on display in specially designed walk-in freezer room at the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich, and here that it lured just everyone who walked in to see it.
