When Bluetooth headsets came onto the market, we were initially happy because we thought there would be less need to hold the cellphone to our ears, as well as less need to press buttons. However, today’s headsets still require a lot of button pushing and thus still haven’t achieved the ideal of hands-free communication. However, BlueAnt has come up with the headset that overcomes these problems and re-establishes the true meaning of hands-free headset communication. Their BlueAnt Wireless V1 headset is capable of listening to voice commands and processing them into commands that were once needed to be punched into the phone. We can choose to dial numbers, answer, re-dial, call back, ignore incoming calls and adjust the volume. Instead of pressing a button on the headset, we just need to say what we want. The Teach Me command will list out all the headset’s commands that users can use.

The BlueAnt Wireless V1 is priced at US $129.95 and offers 5 hours of talk time and 200 hours of stand-by time. That’s nearly as good as some of our modern-day phones themselves. This is certainly a worthwhile investment for the on-the-go person who has little time to fumble around pressing different buttons on his cellphone.
