Blue GPS sneaker is the latest way to remain socially in touch
Not often has technology like a global positioning system taken refuge in a shoe. Isaac Daniel Group did it once and then we had Atrex deliver footwear to track dementia patients, and now we have this new GPS-equipped shoe from Isaac, dubbed the Blue GPS, owing to its added Bluetooth abilities. Billed as the “social networking shoe” it’s traceable through a cellphone and the most prominent social media site Facebook. The wearer can feed in up to five cellphone numbers, which can keep a frequent check on the user’s whereabouts. It's good for the family and friends to know where their dear ones are, even when they are occupied with things and cannot respond to or make calls. It would be a great proposition if the shoes could be ruggedly engineered and a system as full-proof used so that they can be used for military purposes.
