Blind man sees again courtesy a tooth implant in the eye

An atypical tooth-in-eye surgery has restored the eyesight of Martin Jones. Blinded in an accident, the 42-year-old Jones was really excited to see his wife for the first time (after four years of marriage), when he pierced his world of darkness. In the event of the surgery, Jones’ front tooth was extracted to be used as a support for the lens, grafted from his skin, and placed in the right eye. Having lost vision in a tub of white hot aluminum explosion when he worked in a scrapyard, Jones had been blinded for over a decade now. He had lost his left eye, but docs then had managed to save his right eye, but he couldn’t see through it. Now, with the remarkable operation that’s got a man-made lens created from a patch of skin from the inside of the chin placed on a living tooth, helps the man to see again.
