Wireless charging has been around for a while, and basically the system uses the electromagnetic field to transfer energy between two objects. And with the advancement of the technology, we are surely witnessing the "contactless" cataclysm of many a industry, especially in the fields of mobile phones, televisions and even electric vehicles. But now with the preeminence of the console gaming market (mushrooming to more than $30 billion, and estimated to be $34.7 billion by 2012), it is only logical to assume that wireless charging would be inducted at a much larger scale in gaming. And to start things off, this time it is the all new BLAZE Induction Charger catering to the wireless charging of the Nintendo Wii remote.

The BLAZE Induction Charger comes with two rechargeable Wii-Mote Batteries, and it can charge these two battery packs at a time by placing them on the induction charging pad. The procedure is certainly more convenient, but it does fall short of the PowerV Quad (which can charge four controllers at a time). The system also saves time and money, especially when we consider purchasing conventional battery cells. Although the company didn't specify upon the less time required, the whole pack including the batteries comes at a moderate price of £24.99.
