Blast from the past: World's largest camera for $15,240

Before we could actually put our hands on the world's largest pinhole camera, which is a whopping 160 feet long and stands 60 feet high, let us sneak a look at the world's largest camera, which is already showing its knack. The camera was created for the Coast and Geodetic Survey weighs 14 tons and is 31 feet long.

The camera takes impeccable photographs for nautical and airway charts with its 50 inches square plates. The operator remains inside this giant machine, which also acts as the darkroom, to expose and develop the photograph. It cost $15,240 to construct.
