vacuum treatment machine

The baldness has been a major problem since old times and still there is no promising ways to alter the growth of hair. This article, published in Popular Science Magazine, in 1936 throws light on vacuum treatment, which was tested on 500 cases in the beginning. It was developed by Dr. Andre A. Cueto of Cincinnati, Ohio. It is said have shown signs of improvement in many cases. Basically, it applies air pressure and vacuum through a cap and helps restoring the functioning of blood vessels that nourish the hair follicles. Not only for baldness, but abnormal hair growth like that on legs, was treated with circulation-stimulating machine known as a glass boot. However, its absence in present times questions its potential.
