Look at this 60-feet bus. It dates back to August 1957. This 'accordion-pleated bus' offered lush comfort, service and even free lunch, a rolling rest room, and music!

However, it wasn't that much amazing for the travelers over the Denver-Pueblo bus route as the trend of luxury coaches was present already, but that this Continental Trailways' new German coach was bendable. That's right.
Have a close look and see how it was designed in the middle. Even a usual 35-feet bus needed more space to take a turn than this large giant. But, surely, what I miss in the present bus service is smart and pretty hostesses. I wish, I was there in 1957.
