I thought that they’ll at least leave us alone. But no, scientists in Israel have developed an enzyme-powered computer that can be implanted inside human body. Itamar Willner, research scientist at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel and the brain behind the breakthrough, is expecting to use the molecular computer to read the metabolism inside the body and trigger the release of drugs accordingly, what they term as ‘intelligent drug delivery’.



Bio-molecular computers utilize the specially encoded DNA assisting the enzymes to perform all the calculations. The DNA computers are compact and score above the traditional silicon computers.
