This Big Dog, released by Boston Dynamics is billed as the most advanced quadruped robot on this earth. If that sounds too much to you and thinking they are boasting for no reasons let me tell you the robo can actually carry loads up to 120 pounds and can stroll 3.3 miles per hour. Now that sounds dam impressive. Isn't it.

It's a kind of quadruped robot just like a small horse. The stuff has been constructed by defense contractors Boston Dynamics at a cost of US$2.25 million. Big Dog can carry ammunition, food and supplies straight into battle ground.
So, its not one of those dumbos, BigDog is considered to be a pointer to the future. The video is here
