For the boys who refuse to grow up (read: middle aged men with receding hairlines) the new 2008 Shmooball gun is a must have toy. The pneumatic gun pressured by an 800psi CO2 paintball gun, uses an adapter to connect to its 1/4-inch regulator input. The small chamber has its own connection and acts as a helpful expansion camber for gas supply while the lower pressure chamber feeds upon 100psi from the regulator. An electric water sprinkler solenoid is used to release the pressure to the firing chamber and it takes around 12VDC to slow the pressure expansion into the firing chamber. The trigger features a simple safety mechanism and two momentary push buttons have to be depressed to fire the sprinkler solenoid. a beer cozy acts as a reusable wadding to seal on the 2.75″ Shmooball as the twine keeps the wadding from going the way of the Shmooball and a Velcro mounted laser provides quick aim for target practice. What a cool excuse to pass on your kid’s PTA meeting!
