Here comes the BeoLab 9, the fourth loudspeaker from the house of Bang & Olufsen that boasts Acoustic Lens Technology. The lens is mounted at the top of the speaker and disbands the treble in a semicircle of 180 degrees.

Most importantly, BeoLab 9’s performance is not restrained to its location in the room. Instead, it adapts itself to its placement and delivers quality sound. The sound distortion by the reflections from floor and ceiling is kept away by the lens.

The three-way active loudspeaker comes with the bass and mid-range units placed in the specific pressure chambers. Each unit gets the power from its own amplifier, which is a 500-watt ICEpower for the bass and 2 x 100 watts, analogue hybrid amplifiers for the mid-range and treble units.

The bass and midrange units are enclosed within a fabric frame that comes colored in red, blue, dark grey and black.
