
Novatel Wireless U727 USB modem has officially been launched by Bell Mobility. The mobile data device features a USB key design with a removable memory slot that is well capable of housing a MicroSD card with up to 8GB memory. The modem connects to a notebook via any available USB post and instantly allows user to access internet and back up storage space. Only slightly longer than a standard memory stick, the U727 features a flip-up loop antenna and integrates Mobile Connect Basic software, allowing clients to easily install and configure their connections and to review and manage their usage. Supporting peak upload speeds of up to 1.8 megabits per second (Mbps) and peak download speeds of up to 3.1 Mbps, the U727 is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista and Macintosh operating systems. With discounts available on signing up for a one, two or three year contracts, the Novatel Wireless U727 USB modem retails for $299.95 with data rates beginning at $65 per month for 1GB of data.
