Sometimes it seems that the things surrounding the iPod have raised the player on this high an altar rather than the player itself. Raising it a step higher, Belkin has unveiled two new omni-directional microphones allowing the player to record live audio. The TuneTalk Stereo records audio podcast, memos, lectures, interviews, or conversations in full stereo directly to your iPod.

The TuneTalk Stereo features built-in microphones and an auxiliary 3.5mm stereo-input jack allowing you to record with an external microphone. In addition, it allows you to copy recordings to your computer for further editing and transfer. It comes with an in-built iPod video compatibility and does not require any software installation.

The black or white TuneTalk Stereo will hit the market in mid-June with a price tag of $69.99.
